For more than four decades (starting in 1991), our founder – TJ Jorgensen – has built a reputation as one of the most dynamic creative forces in the Midwest. Born in Berrien Springs, Michigan, TJ discovered early that he had a gift for connecting with people, capturing emotion, and telling stories that mattered. What began as youthful ambition grew into a lifelong commitment to creativity, service, and leadership.
TJ entered the professional world at just 18 years old as a marketing associate for Burch, Inc. in Benton Harbor. While many teenagers were still deciding what they wanted to do, TJ was already developing marketing campaigns, sharpening his instinct for messaging, design, and audience impact. By 21, he stepped into the sign and graphics industry and eventually launched his first business, proving that entrepreneurship wasn’t something he hoped for… it was something he lived.
The turning point came in 2012, when he founded TJ21 Media Group in South Bend, Indiana. What started as a small creative company quickly grew into one of the region’s most influential media agencies, known for cinematic video production, digital marketing, web development and powerful brand storytelling.
Behind all the creative energy, TJ’s greatest strength lies in his heart for people. His leadership roles – including Board President of Big Brothers Big Sisters and Board President of Life Treatment Center – reflect his belief that success means nothing unless you lift others with you.
As a public speaker, TJ is known for his signature talk, “Infectious Energy,” which embodies his bold, motivating, and inspiring personality. Whether directing a video shoot, speaking at an event, or helping a nonprofit tell its story, TJ brings unmatched enthusiasm and vision.
