South Bend, IN — March 16, 2018 — TJ21 Media Group is proud to announce that it received a Silver Award from the Michiana Chapter of the American Advertising Federation for its video “BBBS of SJC: Myhca’s Story” in the Public Service Non-Broadcast Audio/Visual category.
The American Advertising Awards, also known as the ADDYs, are the advertising industry’s largest and most prestigious competitions, recognizing excellence in creative strategy, storytelling, and execution across all media, and it starts with local entries. Entries are judged by industry professionals, making a Silver ADDY a creative achievement at the local level.
The award-winning video was produced for Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Joseph County and tells the powerful story of Myhca, highlighting the organization’s mission and the real-world impact of mentorship through emotional, cinematic storytelling.
“We are honored to receive this recognition,” said the TJ21 team. “This project was especially meaningful because it helped shine a light on an incredible organization doing important work in our community. Winning a Silver ADDY for a public service piece makes it even more special.”
The Public Service Non-Broadcast Audio/Visual category recognizes creative work produced for nonprofit and community organizations outside of traditional broadcast channels. TJ21’s win reflects both the technical quality of the production and the strength of its storytelling.
